Oleg
Tretyak, our full-time head coach, is the former coach of the Ukrainian
National Team, which qualified for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
He has 22 years experience in coaching fencing at all levels and
in all weapons, although his specialization is the sabre. He worked
for several years at the Dynamo Kiev Sports Club, teaching school-age
beginners and sports school students. Before coming to FAC-KC, he
coached the Ukrainian Olympic team, placing in the finals at World
Championships in 1999.

of a coach who is not only highly accomplished at the international
level of competition, but also exhibits a wonderful manner and sense
of humor with all ages and levels of fencers.
