FAC-KC offers Olympic calibre coaching with an emphasis on fun.
Classes are on-going; fencers are welcome to join the club at any time. If you are interested in coming in for a trial class, please call so that we may provide more information and meet you at the club.
All equipment is provided to beginners. Please wear comfortable gym clothes, such as sneakers and warm-up pants (not shorts).
Monthly Fees
One
class per week: $48.00
(Does not include private lessons or Friday night electric practice. Any missed
classes must be made up in the same calendar month as the class which was
missed.)
Unlimited
fencing: $85.00
(Does not include private lessons.)
Elite
competitive program: $150.00
Available upon parent/fencer request, the elite competitive program includes unlimited fencing, private lessons with Oleg, participation in summer camps (when offered), individualized tactical instruction, and extra electric practice before attending national level competitions.
Coaching fees for national tournaments are extra and will vary according to the number of FAC-KC competitors in the tournament.
ALL Elite fencers are required to pay the monthly fees for the months of June and July. The coaching fee for Summer Nationals does not include Oleg's monthly salary. The Summer Nationals Coaching fee covers only the expenses that are accrued during the length of the tournament.
We offer family discounts. Additional fencers receive a discount of:
TUITION IS DUE THE FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH. A $15 LATE FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR TUITION RECEIVED AFTER THE TENTH DAY OF THE MONTH.
Please note: Due to the heavy use our equipment receives, fencers are expected to purchase their own equipment after the third month of fencing. If club equipment is used after this point, a $15 equipment rental fee per month will be assessed in addition to the fencer's tuition.
We have open fencing for the elite team from 6:30 - 9:30 Monday through Thursday.
Please note: Elite fencers share their expertise as assistant coaches whenever present. It is understood that all younger fencers will follow their directions as they would follow Oleg's direction. Parents assist by keeping order and helping maintain the condition of our club.
